Anonymously contributed review, February 2013: I had Simpson for legal writing. She was super nice. She made us chocolate chip cookies and brought candy to class. I was never stressed out about going to her class. She liked to meet with students one-on-one to talk about assignments, and she was available to talk or meet outside of class if you needed extra help. The class was pretty boring. It was hard to pay attention in class, but she was really energetic. She taught from powerpoints, which were posted online the day of class. She moves very quickly in class and can go through 2-3 lessons a night. She’s a hard grader. Your papers will look like they are bleeding to death by the time she finishes with them. Kind of crazy about grammar rules. She always had lots of feedback for assignments, which was nice, but sometimes her feedback was longer than the actual assignment you turned in.
